Octoberfest: 4th - 6th Grade Retreat

October 14-15, 2011

Join us at camp this fall for Octoberfest and....

* Hear S'more about God's love & Forgiveness: Luke 10:25-37

* Experience S'more wacky games & Activities: Apple Catapult & Mighty Scoop Noodle Challenge

* Meet S'more Friends & Counselors: Invite Friends, all are welcome!

* Create S'more Memories & Sweet Treats: Marshmallow Lollipops & Gourmet S'mores

When: October 14-15, 2011 6pm-6pm (supper will be served at camp both evenings)

Cost: $40 per youth

February 17-19, 2012

7-9th Grade Youth

Join Shetek Lutheran Ministries and experience God's love in action as we serve alongside and learn from our Twin Cities neighbors. We will spend time in service and learning about issues facing people here in MN. We will take a deeper look at the issue of hunger, participating in activities such as serving a meal, packaging food and engaging in other hunger related activities. SLM Winter Fun Day

December 29, 2011 * 3rd-6th grades

Come to camp over your holiday break to be reminded of God's love and to have a blustery blast with winter camp activities like: snowshoing, broomball, the "penguin plunge" Bible Time, Jello Igloo creations and more!

Who: 3-6th grade youth. Youth advisors are also welcome!

When: December 29th, 9:30 am -4:30 pm

Cost: $25 per youth, $10 deposit due with registration (included in total cost)

What to Bring: List will be sent upon registration confirmation

Shetek Lutheran Ministries Discovery Day

May 14, 2011 *1st-3rd Grades* 10 am-4 pm

Experience camp and make discoveries in Faith and Fun at SLM this spring. Get a sneak peak at what camp is like. During Discovery Day learn the places & faces of Shetek and have a blast exploring God's Word, meeting camp critters, going on a scavenger hunt, and trying the slinky challenge. Shetek Confirmation Retreats are Christ-centered camp experiences for confirmation youth and their guides, intended to enhance and partner with the confirmation program at your congregation. Confirmation Retreats provide an opportunity for community building and time to enter into caring converstaions about who we are and whose we are.
