SOS Camp
All are welcome! SOS (Sharing Our Services) Camp is open to people of all ages with developmental and/or physical special needs. Camp experiences are made accessible and include activities such as swimming, worship, crafts, and more.
Campers look forward to the all-camp special events such as the talent show, beach party, carnival, and dance. An RN is on-site daily to dispense medications and to attend to camper questions and concerns. This week fills quickly, so register early.

This year the cost is lower due to a grant received to scholarship all campers. Made possible by the Total Inclusion Grant from
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (LOM). The organization that made Total Inclusion! possible, Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP), invited the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) (in collaboration with LOM) to apply for a grant through its campaign program, which “seeks to increase opportunities for all youth to experience camping, swimming and other out-of-school enrichment experiences that provide positive, affirming, and safe exposure to nature and that build character and community.” Shetek applied for and received a grant through LOM to lower the cost for campers to come to SOS Camp.
